Length of presentations
Plenary Lectures: | 35 minutes talk + 5 minutes discussion | ||||||

Contributed Lectures: | 12 minutes talk + 3 minutes discussion | ||||||
Lectures in Industry Sessions: | 20 minutes talk + 5 minutes discussion |
Please make sure that you stick to the time frame mentioned above. The session chairs will follow the schedule strictly since we have 6 parallel sessions and the program is rather dense.
Preparation of your presentation
Presentation format: 16:9
Presentations should be saved under the name „sessionnumber_firstname_lastname.pdf“ as pdf files or alternatively as ppt or pptx files.
Please make sure that you bring your talk to the congress on a USB stick. You can upload your presentation to one of the notebooks that are available in the lecture hall your talk is assigned to: a windows notebook and a MacBook are available. Please upload your presentation at the latest in the break before your session starts, preferably one break earlier. Technical staff is available in every lecture hall to assist you.
If you would like to show a movie in your presentation, please bring your own computer as we cannot guarantee technical support for all varieties of video file formats.
If you bring your own computer, please make sure that it supports a VGA port in order to connect it with the video switch in the lecture hall. Please do not forget to bring the necessary adapters with you.
Note that blackboards or white boards are not available in any lecture hall.
